Pcos+clomid+trying to conceive?

Okay well I stopped taking the pill because I kept forgetting to take it, N now I got my period very early of when I was expecting it...maybe just 7 days b-4. N E ways, my question is that I want to have a baby now but I wanna ask my doctor I want to start taking clomid...what kind of questions will they ask??? can I get it over the counter?? N is it expensive since I have kaiser insurance???
