Cleaning fiber gl?

We are trying to sell my mother's house for her (my dad ped away a few years back) and I've been breaking backs and creating calluses to get this place perfect and I have one last battle. The tub in the master bath is fiber gl, and our city water is soooo awful and the calcium buildup and stains are bad but is there anything I can use to make this tub any better??? Please help!
