Misscarry? Twins? Still Pregnant? So confused any opinions appreciated?

hi i had a transl ultra sound done last Monday because I was bleeding a little which made me nervous of course, it confirmed I was pregnant and the two women in the room had huge smiles and were talking about a and b, I said no no a&b?what do you mean there is a "b" i then went on to ask if the other nurse always smiled like this they said the doctors would explain all to me, my hcg levels were good I am 6 weeks and a few days. I followed up with my doctor Weds. for additional bloodwork. Later that day (Weds.) I went to the bathroom and something dropped right out of me, I had no pain nothing, but it was rather big and had gray in it. I was at work. So when I spoke to my doctor she said she was surprised because my levels doubled. Friday blood work done Again and will not know until tomorrow sometime. 3x this week and I am emotionally drained i need to know something,anything! I feel as though the doctors are not telling me things or they know something.
