Fallout 3: How do you fast travel/teleport in the game?

First of all you need to find a certain amount of areas before you can do that, then you need to have already discovered that area to fast travel to it, and finally you go to the map on your pip boy, go to the place you'd like to travel and click on it. It'll ask you if you'd like to fast travel there.
